I am Krithiga Srinivasan. Welcome to my blog!
I have a passion for reading books and solving riddles....more than all I love teaching. Not an expertise though, love to do knowledge transfer as it keeps me on learning spree.
I was born and bought up in Kalpakkam, near Chengalpattu and Mamalaapuram, India ( more people recognize only after I say that it has 2 reactor centers, 1 Indira Gandhi Center of Atomic Research and another Madras Atomic Power station). I did my schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya and passed out in 1998. Thanks to the schooling and township atmosphere. I was able to learn many languages and also being a KVite helped me in getting knowing my other skills apart from academics.
I did my Bachelors in Industrial Electronics in SR college, Trichy. Being a hostellite gave me enough time to try my hand in poetry, story writing , teaching skills. I started teaching my juniors and classmate ( thanks to my mom for unconsciously getting me into this as she was a great teacher at school and at tuitions and I used to help her till I was with her).
I joined a financial firm in Chennai and then moved to the BPO sector of Infosys, after completing my masters in Information Technology. Being a hostellite I was able to help my hostel mates in their studies and was teaching children of my friend's. Infosys gave me a great learning atmosphere and their training methods helped in understanding corporate trainings. After being a team leader and doing knowledge transfer ( I love that term) for the clients, quit my job during my promotion to AM as I was in family way.
I started doing documentation and Jewellery making. I know both are different lines but I was happy doing both and my little one was very cooperative :-) Started painting again and then it was time for my younger one. We moved to Singapore and then with 2 kids I started focusing more on my family as my hubby was more flying than walking on ground. Once my younger one started attending her playgroup, I wanted to get back into part time work that gives me pleasure and not stress at the same time I was particular that I have to be next to my kids.
By God's grace got a timely option for coaching adults for IELTS and that paved way for my tuitions which gives immense pleasure.
When I read the various blogs for parenthood, kitchen recipes, worksheets I always tell myself that its time that I too start writing my experiences and share the resources that I have with all. so here I have started!
Hope to keep sharing!
Always happy to receive your comments and feedbacks.
